Anna Hadden - Executive Director

Anna grew up in Cabri, Saskatchewan and now proudly calls Swift Current home.

Anna began working at the Swift Current Child Care Center in September of 2005 where she worked with the preschool age group. Anna took her Early Childhood Education in Red Deer, Alberta where she was awarded her level II. Anna then continued on to earn her Diploma in Early Learning & Child Care in November, 2014 through Portage College.

Anna's kind-hearted, easy going manner has made this Center more than just a "Child Care Centre" but a second home for the staff and the children.

Brittany Barker - Assistant Director

Originally from Medicine Hat Alberta, Brittany moved to Swift Current in July 2008 and started working here at our Centre just one week later.

When Brittany first started at our Centre her quiet, calm nature was a perfect fit with our toddler group where she worked for the first few years of her time here. Since then she has gone on to work with all age groups within our Centre and has now taken on more administrative duties "behind the scenes".

Brittany completed her Early Learning & Child Care Diploma in June, 2018 after taking classes through Great Plains College as well as through distance learning from Portage College..

Our Early Childhood Educators

Our Centre prides itself on our excellent team of Early Childhood Educators. Our ECEs are educated, informed, flexible, patient, and above all else they are passionate about Early Learning.

Our team of Early Childhood Educators works together to create a healthy environment for social, physical, intellectual, and emotional learning for all children. They design a curriculum that addresses the different stages of learning + development while providing a professional level of care for all children.

Together, the team at the SCCCC work hard to create a safe, friendly, welcoming space for all of the children in our care to be who they are and discover the world around them.
